YCH Global E-Commerce
As the sole UI/UX Developer at Yakima Chief Hops, I played a key role in reimagining their global e-commerce solution. This project includes several sub-applications: a new customer portal, a new contract management suite, and a new spot market (more information below). The process included months of gathering requirements from stakeholders worldwide, creating hundreds of pages of documentation, and undergoing numerous design iterations. Unfortunately, before I could help implement it, I was laid off.

Core Features:

Customer Portal: Once authenticated through single sign-on, brewers would be brought to the customer portal, a jumping-off point for all of YCH's internal apps, tools, and solutions. Here, brewers could also manage their personal and brewery accounts and add additional users to their brewery accounts. We also had plans to add a rewards program to this in V2.

Contract Management: Allows brewers to manage their contracts and credit terms, including ordering, modifying, and viewing their purchase history and completed contracts. I had to account for multiple types of contracts and redesign table-based (desktop) content as cards for mobile*.

Invoicing: Allows brewers to pay their outstanding invoices, view paid invoices, and download copies for their records.

Spot Market: Allows YCH to sell excess inventory to customers on a first-come, first-served basis. Homebrewers and microbreweries could then purchase the hops they need without needing a contract, and brewers who have contracts could buy supplemental products ad hoc.

Improved Cart & Checkout Experience: The same cart would be on both the contract management and spot market side, and customers could check out from either. The checkout experience would include the option for guest checkout (spot only), split deliveries, and paying with credit terms.
* On the contract order and spot search screens in the mockups, you can select the title in the mockups to toggle between different versions of the same view.

Worked with stakeholders from the US, Canada, UK, and EU to gather requirements.

Wrote user stories for each functional requirement.

Personally designed and prototyped every screen/view/component in Figma and iteratively presented them to stakeholder groups for feedback.

I also took the time to mockup the admin CRUD to get a head start on planning the flow of information and how to manage the portal as an admin (not included in mockups below).
