HopFWD (YCH)
As the sole designer on the Yakima Chief Hops software development team, I took on the additional responsibility of managing the creation and upkeep of the marketing department's microsites. One of these microsites is HopFWD, a marketing initiative program that allows brewers to participate in product trials and provide early feedback on new hop products under development. By doing so, brewers can gain access to innovative new hop products, and YCH can gather information on their ideal applications, helping the company improve its marketing and sales strategies for these products.

Core Features:
-
Home and FAQ: Inform site visitors about the program and - at certain times of the year - allow them to sign up for the waiting list to join.
-
Participant Map: Shows where our current members are based so guests can visit them in person and see that we are gathering feedback from all over the world.
-
Members Only Page: This exclusive feature is reserved for our program members, providing them with access to important documents, feedback forms, and promotional images to showcase their participation.

My Contributions:
-
Worked with the marketing department to turn their idea and brand design into a fun, interactive microsite.
-
Created the site from scratch in WordPress & Divi. We chose WordPress for marketing micro-sites, making sure the content can be easily managed by the marketing department after initial development, with minimal support from the development team.
-
Wrote custom styles to get everything to match marketing's design specs, including all parallax scroll animation events and responsive layouts.
-
Set the members-only page to require authentication to view and managed account creation for the ~72 members.
